Beer sommelier training
The training as a beer sommelier gives you deep insights into the world of beer variety and the art of brewing. In addition, you will learn how to tap and present beer properly, how to create a beer menu and how to advise guests on food pairing. Within the course of our popular training as a beer sommelier, the team around the Ottakringer master brewer brings the participants closer to everything important and worth knowing about beer in order to become a true expert in beer and brewing culture.
“Beer sommeliers are experts who are employed specially for the promotion and preservation of Austrian beer and brewing culture. They know that they should describe beer as one of the oldest cultural drinks and convey this to their guests.”
We show you the way to becoming a beer expert in our beer sommelier training! We recommend the Beerkeeper [Green Level] training as a more compact alternative for providing a solid foundation of basic knowledge which also takes place at regular intervals in our brewery. Here are all of the details.
